Born under the rare 13th zodiac sign, Ophiuchus, Amy had no idea she was destined to save a magical world. Having already trapped children of the other  12 zodiac signs, the Dark Lord now has his sights on conquering our world as well. Amy must gather her courage to free the children’s souls and finally  bring the Dark Lord’s tyranny to an end. (BigFish Games sales blurb)

This is another great game that I bought immediately.  The Opening Graphics and those of the Main Menu are brilliant.  The Options are more basic, and there is a Relaxed Mode of play, but the Graphics are outstanding, fabulous, imaginative, colourful and glorious.  Even in the underwater scenes the graphics remain gorgeous – none of the fading out of colour usually used for those scenes.

You are assisted – sort of – by an Owl called Strix.  I thought he would be more involved, as other assistants are in other fantasy games, but he is a small help.  Besides, I managed on my own anyway.  The Hidden Objects are a little less clear, but not bad, and some of them are very well hidden indeed.  This game is really cool, intricate, clever – the extra Zodiac sign is interesting – and addictive.

I highly recommend this game.

About judsartwork

I write reviews of Adventure and Hidden Object games that are Crime, Fantasy, SciFi, Renovation, Travel, Quest and/or Mystery by genre. I have a Masters in Writing (2006) and have been writing novels, both crime and fantasy for many years; plus Haiku, verse, and prose both fictional and literary. I am also an artist of modern, Acrylic, textural and hard edge work, underwater, fantasy, expressionist, and Cosmos paintings. I use mixed media (Acrylic, Watercolour, Pastels) in textural Monoprints, finding surprises to expose within each work. Having both an analytical and creative mind has meant that I have strong powers of observation, and the persistence required to follow computer problems through till I solve them. Of course I am not always successful, but am willing to ask for a little help in order to then unlock the main problem myself. My Troubleshooting Blog, 'Problems and Solutions', was the result of my tenacity.
