Inspired by some of the grandest amusement parks in the world, but with a nod towards the endearing charm of boardwalks and carnivals, Amusement World invites players of all ages to have the time of their lives with nostalgic hidden-object scenes, games and puzzles. From skee-ball to dart throwing to target shooting, all of the classic carnival games are here. With four distinct lands to explore, each with its own theme and memorable characters, there is something for everyone to love at Amusement World! (BigFish Sales Blurb)

In this game you assist Princess Nira to prepare for the Christmas Ball.  Your Admission to the Amusement Park is via a Golden Ticket which you have to locate.  Once in you enter a world of imaginative Graphics which are brightly colourful, playful, and fun.  This is a great game for kids, and for the family.  However I found some Puzzles really annoying – also the music was repetitive and really annoying.

In each scene, you search for Tickets to use in the each Puzzle; you search for Gumdrops which are Princess Nira’s favourite candy; you search for various sets of Hidden Objects; and play Puzzles like Balloon Popz that require aiming and firing skills, shooting dexterity – in other words steady eye/hand co-ordination.  I didn’t complete the trial hour, but have no doubt that others will find it entertaining.

I recommend it for families.

About judsartwork

I write reviews of Adventure and Hidden Object games that are Crime, Fantasy, SciFi, Renovation, Travel, Quest and/or Mystery by genre. I have a Masters in Writing (2006) and have been writing novels, both crime and fantasy for many years; plus Haiku, verse, and prose both fictional and literary. I am also an artist of modern, Acrylic, textural and hard edge work, underwater, fantasy, expressionist, and Cosmos paintings. I use mixed media (Acrylic, Watercolour, Pastels) in textural Monoprints, finding surprises to expose within each work. Having both an analytical and creative mind has meant that I have strong powers of observation, and the persistence required to follow computer problems through till I solve them. Of course I am not always successful, but am willing to ask for a little help in order to then unlock the main problem myself. My Troubleshooting Blog, 'Problems and Solutions', was the result of my tenacity.
