Save your twin from a nefarious witch in Reveries: Sisterly Love! In order to save your life, your sister, Monica, traded her soul to a witch. You watched helplessly as Monica grew old before your very eyes and then disappeared through a strange mirror. But you’re not feeling so helpless anymore! Monica’s sacrifice has given you the strength to venture through the looking glass to rescue your twin. Can you defeat the villainess and save Monica before her soul is lost forever? Find out as you journey through a whimsical fantasy world in this exciting Hidden Object adventure! (BigFish Sales Blurb)

What a great game.  It has a good Options, Casual/Advanced/Hard Difficulty Modes to choose from, great Graphics, great Story, logical Play, interesting Puzzles, and is fast moving.  What more could you ask for?  There is a Notebook, through which you can access an interactive Map – it shows where you are, which sites are completed, and which have things still to do in them, plus you can jump to whichever one you click.

There are a variety of Hidden Object site Modes – Finding Pairs (that work together), Lists, Silhouettes, plus the usual interaction between HOs as you find them to help find others.  Keeps you interested in what you are doing.  If you mouse-over the silhouettes, it will show you what they actually look like.

Then there is the Amulet which is your protection against the Witch – you gain Crystals for it that give you protection against Smoke, Fire, Water, Ice, Rocks in such a neat way.  It sucks up all the smoke, flames and lava, water, disintegrating ice, and demolishing boulders and rubble.  It’s so cool.  You feel invincible and just want to move to the next part.

Although it could be longer, this is a thoroughly enjoyable game, which I bought immediately.  I am sure that the Collector’s Edition is as good, if not better.  I highly recommend it.

About judsartwork

I write reviews of Adventure and Hidden Object games that are Crime, Fantasy, SciFi, Renovation, Travel, Quest and/or Mystery by genre. I have a Masters in Writing (2006) and have been writing novels, both crime and fantasy for many years; plus Haiku, verse, and prose both fictional and literary. I am also an artist of modern, Acrylic, textural and hard edge work, underwater, fantasy, expressionist, and Cosmos paintings. I use mixed media (Acrylic, Watercolour, Pastels) in textural Monoprints, finding surprises to expose within each work. Having both an analytical and creative mind has meant that I have strong powers of observation, and the persistence required to follow computer problems through till I solve them. Of course I am not always successful, but am willing to ask for a little help in order to then unlock the main problem myself. My Troubleshooting Blog, 'Problems and Solutions', was the result of my tenacity.
