PLAYING THROUGH THE PILES OF SHAME!

So sorry.  Apologies for not having written any new Game blogs lately.  But it seems impossible to fit any in amongst the playing of games that have been bought and then stockpiled on the desktop, plus the frenetic painting needed to prepare a major work for the annual Perth Royal Show here in Western Australia.  When it is completed I will add it to my Painting blog here so you can see what all the fuss was about.  A little clue: it’s called GALAXIES GALORE on a round canvas. 😀

Add to all this the fact that the hard drive on my laptop – the computer hooked to my big screen, light mouse, and ergonomic keyboard – ran out of storage space, requiring me to find alternative space to transfer a pile of games onto to free up some working space and you can see that I’ve been snowed under.  And I still am.

Fortunately my husband – the Star – looked up a way to hook up a spare laptop, with Windows 10 on it, to the same screen, mouse and keyboard, with a little magic button that I press to switch between the two laptops.  It’s brilliant!  I can download the 2015 games onto the the Asus, popping back and forth to keep it active until it’s ready to Install, while working on the Toshiba.  A bit of a shock though to see how many new games I acquired during 2015 – though at least half of those were via free game vouchers earned by buying the others.  😀

Anyway, as soon as I can find some spare hours, I’ll trawl through the recently played games and write up a few blogs.  Of course if I just blogged a few thoughts on each game it could be done a lot quicker – but then you wouldn’t get all the data and pics I usually put on here in my Blogs.

About judsartwork

I write reviews of Adventure and Hidden Object games that are Crime, Fantasy, SciFi, Renovation, Travel, Quest and/or Mystery by genre. I have a Masters in Writing (2006) and have been writing novels, both crime and fantasy for many years; plus Haiku, verse, and prose both fictional and literary. I am also an artist of modern, Acrylic, textural and hard edge work, underwater, fantasy, expressionist, and Cosmos paintings. I use mixed media (Acrylic, Watercolour, Pastels) in textural Monoprints, finding surprises to expose within each work. Having both an analytical and creative mind has meant that I have strong powers of observation, and the persistence required to follow computer problems through till I solve them. Of course I am not always successful, but am willing to ask for a little help in order to then unlock the main problem myself. My Troubleshooting Blog, 'Problems and Solutions', was the result of my tenacity.
