This is quite an enjoyable game, with Basic Options, and clear Graphics for its opening sequence. The Automatic Tutorial tells you what you need to know quickly and clearly and lets you get on with the game. There is a Journal which contains the Story details, and Objectives with Hints attached if you need them. A Map becomes available so that you can unlock new rooms plus see the state of play. In each location you need to find and pick up a Scroll which opens showing the list of Hidden Objects you need to find. I made no notes about the Puzzles so I assume they were okay.
The story is cool – you search Howard’s Mansion after his death to find the secret rooms and artifacts he has hidden beneath his home. It draws you in as you play so that when your trial time runs out you wish it hadn’t. The Graphics are clear, but are less so in the HO sites which is a little frustrating. Also some of the HOs are quite small as they are shown in perspective with their background. I didn’t notice a magnifier to remedy this.
Good game, which I recommend, despite wishing the graphics were just a little clearer.
