Jud’s Game Rating:

Graphics **** Player participation (PP) **** Satisfaction Factor (SF) ***

Frustration Factor (FF) *   Fair Play (FP) ****  Tedium Factor (TF) **

This is not a particularly bad game – that is not the reason I rejected it.  It is however rather repetitive – so far – and is Timed, which is one of the things I hate in games.  Let me rephrase that – I hate playing Timed games, as they add tremendous pressure on  you, raise the adrenaline affect, increase the heartrate, and lead to various amounts of frustration if you don’t complete the level in time!  So it rates very low on the satisfaction scale.

If however, they add the Untimed Option to the menu then this game would go up in my estimation.  It does just seem to entail finding hidden numbers, some extremely cleverly hidden, which I believe would also become very boring after a while, falling into the TF.  I certainly only played a few scenes of it before Exiting.  And when I returned to have  another bit of a play, I did just that – had another bit of a play – a few scenes only, before exiting!

So this game is a cool little game to play when you have a short time to kill, when opening a big game is inadvisable due to non-playing circumstances.  And if you don’t mind being timed!

NB:  There is one glitch – when I opted for Full Screen, the screen went black, and I had to use Ctrl Alt Del to exit and stop the game running, before starting again.
