This Hidden Object game has really great graphics – except for one classroom of the College which has light shafts across it masking the HOs. These range from a reasonable size to really tiny, but the clarity of the graphics allows you to identify them, so it’s not too much of a strain on the eyes. Some of them are fairly cleverly hidden though. The cool cursor has a tiny point allowing pinpoint accuracy on the tiny HOs which helps a lot.
The Story is engaging and is well integrated into the game – dependent on each other to make sense. You can collect more than one item per HO site into your Inventory to use in other rooms. You must collect all the Talismans in order to make the Talisman machine work and show you your destination in the coming sequel game.
The mechanics of the game work well, once you settle in to where the arrows are for the next room/hallway/stairs etc, and luckily if the rooms are not active there is a padlock beside the arrow to indicate that you can’t enter there for the moment. This saves a lot of needless searching through inactive rooms/sites.
A good game. I bought it and recommend it.
