TREASURE SEEKERS – Visions of Gold

Jud’s Game Rating:

Graphics *** Player participation (PP) **** Satisfaction Factor (SF) ****

Frustration Factor (FF) **  Fair Play (FP) ***  Tedium Factor Nil

This game was the first of the Series, as I can tell by the fact that the characters from the other Series are just children in this game.  And it looks and plays as such.  This is not to say that it is a bad game.  But the Graphics are darker and blurrier, and there is no Inventory bar, Map, nor Notebook – just a Hint at the bottom corner.

There are the sparkling Hidden Object sites; occasional items to find in each site; and the Key Object circle of bubbles to fill – this automatically completes itself when all items or parts are found.  The number of these per site is indicated by locked Task circles, which unlock as you complete them, located at the bottom of screen where the Inventory Bar usually is found.

The story is intriguing enough, and Player Participation PP is okay.  I recommend that you try it.  Just know that as the games are added to the Series, each are a little more polished in their design, game-play and graphics.
